About
Michigan FFA is a dynamic student leadership organization that prepares young people for success through agriculture, food, and natural resources (AFNR) education. Through hands-on learning, leadership development, and real-world experiences, students gain the skills, confidence, and connections needed to thrive in their future.
FFA is part of a complete Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (AFNR) education program. Students learn through three connected experiences: classroom and laboratory instruction, Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs), and FFA leadership activities. Together, these experiences help students apply what they learn, develop career-ready skills, and explore their interests.
Through FFA, students put their learning into action by participating in conferences, leadership workshops, contests, awards and recognition programs, community service projects, and career exploration opportunities. From local chapter activities to statewide events, FFA helps students build confidence, develop leadership skills, connect with others, and prepare for success in their future.
