The Broiler Contest gives members the opportunity to raise broiler chickens while learning the science and management practices behind poultry production. As you care for your birds, monitor their growth, and apply industry-recommended practices, you'll strengthen your animal care, recordkeeping, problem-solving, and time management skills. Along the way, you'll gain hands-on experience in poultry production while building the knowledge and responsibility needed for future careers in the agriculture, food, and natural resources industries.
