The Meat Rabbit Contest gives members the opportunity to raise market rabbits while learning the science and management practices behind rabbit production. As you care for your rabbits, monitor their growth, and maintain production records using safe and ethical industry practices, you'll strengthen your animal care, recordkeeping, problem-solving, and time management skills. Along the way, you'll gain hands-on experience in livestock production while building the knowledge and responsibility needed for future careers in the agriculture, food, and natural resources industries.
