MSU CANR/VET MED SCHOLARSHIP
Overview
The Michigan FFA Alumni/MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) and College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) Scholarship supports FFA members as they begin their college experience at Michigan State University. Through a partnership between the Michigan FFA Alumni, CANR, and CVM, this scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated leadership, academic achievement, and a commitment to agriculture and FFA. The program helps support future leaders as they pursue degrees and careers in agriculture, food, natural resources, and veterinary medicine.
Requirements for All Applicants
Applicants must:
- Be an active FFA member.
- Be nominated by a chapter with an active Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends affiliate.
- Be accepted and enrolled as an incoming freshman in the Michigan State University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources or the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Scholarship Eligibility
Scholarship awards are available only during a student's freshman year at Michigan State University.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following materials:
- Completed CANR/CVM Scholarship Application
- One letter of recommendation from the FFA advisor
- Two additional letters of recommendation (excluding parents and the FFA advisor)
- High school transcript
- Signatures from the student and advisor
- All application materials combined into a single PDF for submission
