GLASSBROOK GRANT
Overview
The Glassbrook Grant Program invests in innovative Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Education (AFNRE) programs across Michigan. Through funding provided by the Pauline Glassbrook Endowment and administered by the Michigan FFA Foundation, educators can expand learning opportunities through projects, equipment, field experiences, and professional development.
Eligibility
The Glassbrook Grant Program provides funding to support formal and non-formal K–12 agriculture, food, and natural resources education programs across Michigan.
Grant Information
Awards of $500 to $3,000 are available to support eligible projects. Grant funds may be used for up to three years from the date awarded. Award recipients will be notified by January 31.

*Technology grants of up to $3,000 are available for eligible software and hardware purchases. Technology requests require a dollar-for-dollar funding match.
Matching Funds
Projects that include matching funds, either financial or in-kind, receive special consideration during the review process. Applicants are encouraged to seek additional support from businesses, community organizations, professional associations, and other funding partners.
Selection Criteria
Applications are evaluated based on:
- Alignment with the goals of the Pauline Glassbrook Endowment
- Innovation and creativity
- Organization and clarity
- Short- and long-term program impact
- Demonstrated need
- Overall project plan
Recipient Reporting
Grant recipients will be contacted in late summer/early fall to submit a brief project update. The report should include:
- Project name and purpose
- Current status of the project
- Challenges encountered
- Lessons learned
- Three to five photos of the project
- An optional video highlighting the project's impact
- Quotes from students, educators, or other project stakeholders that may be used in promotional materials
Application Requirements
- Completed Glassbrook Grant application
- W-9 for the entity receiving grant funds
