MICHIGAN FFA ALUMNI & FRIENDS EVENTS

The Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends Annual Meeting brings together supporters, educators, and community partners for a collaborative day focused on strengthening agricultural education across the state. The agenda features a formal business session, ample time for networking, and hands‑on workshops designed to help local affiliates grow and support their chapters more effectively. Attendees will also participate in scholarship‑driven fundraising activities, including auctions that directly benefit Michigan FFA members. The annual meeting serves as a meaningful opportunity to share ideas, celebrate progress, and align efforts to ensure students continue to have access to strong, vibrant FFA programs.

One of the biggest initiatives the Michigan FFA Alumni can undertake, thanks to partnerships with the Michigan FFA Association and Foundation, is the National FFA Convention Experience Trip for Program Supporters. This program was created in the 1980s by Mr. Floyd Beneker of the Marshall FFA Alumni as a way to introduce school administrators to FFA beyond the local level. The trip has evolved to include school board members and other community stakeholders who could benefit from learning more about our wonderful organization.

This opportunity is designed for school administrators, counselors, board members, or supporters to learn more about how FFA can impact the lives of students. At the same time, they participate in the largest event the National FFA Organization has to offer.

This year's trip will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, October 21-22, 2026. Transportation, lodging, convention registration and several meals will be provided as part of registration. Administrators and supporters of FFA, will attend sessions, explore National FFA Career Show & Shopping Mall, meet members from their home chapter and more in these two days.
